VISA

         Education visa

         Thailand Education Visa is issued to foreign applicants who wish to study in a university, attend seminars, training sessions, or internships in Thailand. The holder of the ED visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for 90 days and can be extended for a period of one year from the date of the first entry in Thailand.

          Business visa

          Foreigners who wish to conduct business or undertake investment activities in Thailand must apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa at the Royal Thai Embassies or Royal Thai Consulates-General.  Various categories of the Non-Immigrant Visa are currently provided to meet the needs and qualifications of individual business persons. (This type of visa requires a work permit)

           Retirement visa

           Before applying for your Retirement visa, you must first have a Non-O visa (like education). After staying at least 60 days on your new Non -O visa you may then change to a retirement visa. Tourist visa holders can also change to a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand.

           Volunteer visa

           Foreigners who want to engage in a charitable or voluntary activity in Thailand need to have a valid Non-Immigrant O visa. The holder is granted with an initial period of stay not exceeding 90 days unless otherwise instructed by the Office of Immigration Bureau. Depending on the length of time the foreigner needs to participate in the voluntary work, they can obtain an extension of 1 year stay on a discretionary basis.
